Description

Parker PAVC389BR4216 Variable Plunger Hydraulic Pump

The PAVC389BR4216 is a variable plunger hydraulic pump. When installing the pump, ensure that the inlet and outlet are fitted with combined gaskets and that the pipe joints are properly sealed to prevent air leakage. To avoid any issues with air bubbles, replace the hydraulic oil and oil suction filter screen regularly.

To start the pump, connect all pipelines and set the first pressure regulating valve to the lowest setting. Let the pump idle for 10 minutes before slowly raising the pressure to 5 mpa over the next 5 minutes. After 5 more minutes, increase the pressure to the required working pressure to displace any remaining air in the pump and pipelines. This will help increase the lifespan of the hydraulic pump.

Remember to use clean oil and replace the oil suction filter regularly. Too many oil impurities may damage the plunger inside the pump and void any warranty. Following these four points can greatly improve the longevity of the plunger pump.
